We enjoy welcoming groups aboard our regularly scheduled train rides from May to September. We encourage groups to ride during our weekend runs on Saturday at 1:00, 3:00 an 5:00pm and Sunday at 1:00 and 3:00. There is a 20% discount for groups over 20 if booking through one, single transaction. This group offer is limited to currently scheduled weekend rides. Carrying capacity is up to 200 persons per train ride, with advance registration based on availability.
We offer charters for groups over 50 individuals. A private excursion is the perfect venue and a unique experience for reunions, birthdays, work retreats, parties and ceremonies. We can accommodate parties of 50-220 people, with add-on options such as dinner service, 2-4 cars, indoor and outdoor seating are available. Event packages start at $1000. If you are looking to expand the experience, you may be able to rent the loading platform and rail-yard for your private party.
Contact us for details, rates and to learn more about customizing your experience for your field trip. We want to make this experience as educational and interesting as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your needs on a case by case basis.
Lewis County is rich with railroad history and more. The Lewis County Historical Museum and the Veterans Memorial Museum, which is within walking distance from our Train Depot also welcomes group tours.
You are welcome to bring box lunches and have a picnic in our rail yard or on the train if prearranged. Many of our local restaurants are eager to supply your group with delicious box lunches to go. Within a few miles of our rail yard are parks, including Recreation Park/Penny Playground and Stan Hedwall Park (w/covered picnic kitchen), both at Exit 76, and the Alexander-Lintott Park at Exit 77, just off Hwy 6. Nearby the neighborhood Westside Park is a great place where families can also picnic and play.
We look forward to you contacting us soon to make arrangements for your group! All Aboard!
