The Chehalis Centralia Railroad & Museum expects to resume train rides in March 2021. The exact date has not yet been announced. Safety precautions and health guidelines will be in place for the benefit of both crew members and our passengers.

As we adapt our seating arrangements this year due to COVID19, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We are following guidelines issued by Washington State. Please be aware that due to the close proximity of our tables, fixed bench seating and limited space, we will not always be able to guarantee 6 ft distancing while you are on the train. We will adhere to the Washington State capacity policy requested at the time of your excursion. We do require masks, unless you are enjoying a meal.  Outside seating and cross ventilation, by opening windows, is available. The indoor cars are unheated. Because we want to ensure your safety, we discourage those who are vulnerable, at risk, or ill,  from riding the train until COVID19 concerns meet your own health issues and expectations.

As in the past year, we will resume excursions following state guidelines and protocol. Please watch our website and Facebook page for updates.

Mystery and Suspense

Ride the rails into the countryside in our 1920’s coaches, but beware of unfriendly, gunslinging masked bandits lurking in the bushes. Don’t be surprised if you become part of a hold up. We advise you to leave your prized possessions and valuables at home! The local sheriff is standing by to protect you……. but don’t trust the Saloon Gals as they are typically in cahoots with these nasty horseback bandits. Bring your appetite for the BBQ served in our dining car. You will enjoy a quieter ride back to the Chehalis Depot while we offer you dessert and coffee to calm your nerves. Join the action!.. We encourage you to dress in 1920s attire or just don your best western boots and hat to help create a great Wild Wild West show.
