It's a hold-up!

Ride the rails into the countryside in our 1920’s coaches, but beware of unfriendly, gunslinging masked bandits lurking in the bushes. Don’t be surprised if you become part of a hold up. We advise you to leave your prized possessions and valuables at home! The local sheriff is standing by to protect you……. but don’t trust the Saloon Gals as they are typically in cahoots with these nasty horseback bandits. Bring your appetite for the meal served in our dining car. You will enjoy a quieter ride back to the Chehalis Depot while we offer you dessert and coffee to calm your nerves. Join the action! We encourage you to dress in 1920s attire or just don your best western boots and hat to help create a great Wild Wild West show.

Important Message:

Greetings to Railfans and Friends of the Chehalis Centralia Railroad & Museum,

Rail excursion operations are closed for the winter season. We are pleased to announce the full repair of the track damage sustained in the 2022 flood has been completed. Funds are currently being sought through FEMA and SBA to reimburse the expenses incurred. In the meantime, projects to improve our facilities and the safety of our train operations are underway. The renovation of the #15 Steam Locomotive has resumed, pending the acquisition of funds.

We do not yet have an opening date for 2023 excursions. Once that date has been determined, tickets will go on sale and future events will be announced on this website and our Facebook page.
